What-What?! Week of July 9th

Lord Hill Regional Park

Last weekend, we went to Lord Hill Regional Park, located in the southern part of Snohomish.  It was a bit of a drive, out beyond the farmland, but I think it was worth it.  The park itself was lovely, the trails were wide and generally in good condition, and it wasn't as swampy and wet as some of the other forests we've been to.

"Live, uh, finds a way"

Interesting texture on this tree.  Dunno what could have caused it.

An absolutely huge, hollowed out tree stump.

They were looking at berries, I think.

One of the wider parts of the trail.

Pretty leaves.

We all had a good time.  Ozzy spent part of the time being scared -- I don't know why, but he's decided that forests are scary.  He did lighten up after a while, though.

What-What?! Week of July 3rd

This past week was pretty slow.  I don't think we're doing much this weekend other than barbequing.

Last weekend, we had out friend's kids over, which was a lot of fun.  It was particularly funny when the husband decided to play Minecraft; he wound up with every single kid in the house gathered around:

The husband and I have also been playing Robo Rally recently, a board game.  Normally each person would only have one robot, but we've each been playing two of them.  It's kind of great, because when things go horribly wrong, you still have another 'bot to use:
All those exclamation points are damage to my robot.  This was just after the first turn of the game.  Poor Twitch didn't have a great game. xP

That's it for right now.
