Ugh, this time change thing sucks. I am happy to see so much noise being made about getting rid of it around here, though we'll have to see if it actually happens or not.
We've had some more snow this past week -- about a full day of it, then some more overnight. Just enough that we have to clear off the car and driveway in order to go anywhere in the morning, but so little that the majority of it was melted by evening.
The husband and I are starting to get ourselves put together for the upcoming SCA event season -- putting together new wardrobes for us and the children, getting camping gear, etc. Sat down yesterday and made several very long lists of things we'll need to get/gather for the next event in May; we have a good chunk of time until then, but I'd really rather be over-prepared than under.
I've started on a Burgundian style gown for myself, made out of blue taffeta, ideally with black velvet trim and an orange underdress. It should wind up being similar to the lady in blue's dress:
I have some fabric (a red brocade) and a pattern to make Saffron a dress similar to this, which is the same period as my dress:

What-What?! Week of March 3rd
It's March already?!
Not too much to post about -- we're working on gathering camping gear for the next SCA event, as well as another set of costumes and that kind of thing.
Here's some pictures of the big snow we had in mid-February (there is still snow in my yard people!):

| You can see in the background here that the grain silo collapsed from the weight of the snow. Used to be conical the other way |

| The slush puddle at the end of the street -- this was incredibly slippery. Watched many cars slide their way through there. |
