We have essentially done nothing in the past week. Corwin was pretty sick for the first part of the week, then the rest of the week was spent recovering from that. The weather here has been pretty cruddy; a few days with terrible air quality from the nearby fires, and now it's raining.
The nicest thing we've done this week is go to Target and buy fancy Starbucks drinks. The husband and I actually bought the kids their own hot cocoa, which came in these tiny kid-sized cups -- Saffron said she felt very grownup with her own drink.
We're also starting to get ready for Halloween; so far, the kids want to be Santa Claus (Ozzy), a spider (Corwin), and a pop star (Saffron). Let's see if all that sticks for the next month.
